Account Manager AWP Rentals (Facilities Management Focus)

A well-established organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager Aerial Work Platform (AWP) Rentals to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding rental business opportunities specifically within the Facilities Management (FM) and Events sectors while maintaining strong client relationships and achieving set revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and execution of the rental strategy in alignment with annual business goals.
  

• Identify and grow rental revenue from national accounts focusing on the FM and Events industries.
  

• Develop and implement fixed-rate agreements with key accounts to promote long-term business partnerships.
  

• Proactively identify new business opportunities in target industries and emerging market segments.
  

• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting networking and leveraging existing industry contacts.
  

• Achieve individual rental performance targets based on agreed KPIs.
  

• Conduct market research to stay updated on customer needs market trends and competitor activity.
  

• Prepare rental project proposals and plans tailored to client requirements.
  

• Promote and upsell value-added services such as transport fuel solutions and damage waivers.
  

• Maintain accurate records of past and forecasted rentals using CRM and reporting tools.
  

• Collaborate with internal departments including Commercial and Marketing to develop effective promotional strategies.
  

• Attend industry trade shows exhibitions and networking events to strengthen market presence.
  

• Monitor underperforming accounts or segments and develop strategic action plans for business recovery.
  

• Coordinate with the commercial team for timely follow-up on payments and debtor management.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent professional qualification
  

• 3 5 years of experience in account management preferably in equipment rental or AWP industry
  

• Market knowledge of the Facilities Management and Events sectors across the UAE
  

• Excellent command of English (Arabic is a plus)
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  

• Valid UAE driving license
  

• Willingness to travel as needed
  

• Experience working in a multinational or networked organization is advantageous
  

• Willing to work in Dubai
