ملخص الوظيفة
The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising and managing civil engineering works related to the Sewer Scheme Supervision Project. This role requires an experienced engineer with extensive knowledge of sewer network construction and infrastructure projects in the GCC region.
- Oversee the construction of sewer networks including pipeline laying manhole construction and micro-tunneling.
- Review and approve construction materials methods and method statements.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with project specifications standards and OH&S requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of the works and materials.
- Review and approve shop drawings and other submittals ensuring compliance with the design.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the works providing updates to the Project Manager and Ministry representatives.
- Coordinate with contractors resolving any technical issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure that the project is completed to the highest quality standards and within the agreed timeline.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on sewer systems and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in the GCC region with local experience in Bahrain being an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and quality control practices
- Solid understanding of financial management and resource planning within an engineering consultancy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Additional Information :
- PMP certified is preferred
- CRPEP licenses is preferred
