Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical engineering activities on construction projects ensuring compliance with project specifications codes and standards
- Oversee BIM-related coordination facilitating clash detection design reviews and multidisciplinary alignment
- Review mechanical models drawings and calculations; provide clear technical comments and ensure timely resolution of design issues
- Coordinate with consultants subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical queries and support smooth project execution
- Monitor site installation works ensuring quality safety and adherence to approved designs
- Support planning material submittals method statements and commissioning activities
- Identify risks propose engineering solutions and drive continuous improvements in project delivery
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience within contracting firms
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows model coordination and digital engineering processes
- Proven capability to review and interpret mechanical drawings models and technical documents
- Demonstrated experience working on site managing installation and construction activities (not purely office/design based)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication problem-solving and coordination skills
- Familiarity with relevant mechanical codes standards and construction best practices
