Job Title:QA/QC Specialist Aluminum Wire Rod & Conductor Stranding
Department:QA/QC & Technical
Reports To:Manager R&D and Technical Services
Location:Askar
Job Overview
Our client is seeking aQA/QC Specialistto ensure product quality and process consistency in aluminum wire rod and conductor manufacturing. The role involves process control metallurgical analysis and continuous improvement to achieve target mechanical and electrical properties while reducing nonconformities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize casting rolling wire drawing and stranding processes
- Ensure product compliance with mechanical electrical and surface finish specifications
- Conduct root cause analysis for nonconformities and customer complaints
- Support melt treatment quality control and metallurgical testing
- Lead process improvement initiatives and support trials for new alloys
- Maintain documentation and compliance with ISO and ASTM/IEC/EN standards
- Collaborate with production R&D and technical teams for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Materials or Electrical Engineering (Technical diploma holders with relevant experience considered)
- 58 years of experience in aluminum rod and conductor manufacturing
- Hands-on expertise in QA/QC process control and metallurgical testing
- Knowledge of ISO quality management systems and process instrumentation
- Proficient in MS Office ERP systems and basic AutoCAD
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
