The Medicine Program is seeking highly qualified faculty members specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology. The ideal candidate will have a proven academic record in teaching and learning expertise in curriculum development and a strong research background in Obstetrics & Gynecology education. The faculty member will also be actively involved in academic advising faculty development community engagement and administrative responsibilities.
- Teach and facilitate courses related to Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Design and implement innovative teaching and assessment strategies.
- Conduct and publish high-quality research in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Provide academic advice and mentorship to students and faculty.
- Develop and enhance medical curricula learning methodologies and evaluation systems.
- Participate in faculty development programs and training initiatives.
- Contribute to community engagement and interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Head of the Program.
Requirements
Education:
- Ph.D. MD or MBBS with specialization or advanced qualifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Certified training or diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Extensive teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
- Expertise in curriculum development assessment strategies and educational technology.
- Strong research background with publications in medical education.
- Experience in faculty development and training programs.
- Demonstrated ability to handle administrative responsibilities effectively.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellence in research publications and academic writing.
- Strong teaching mentoring and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in educational technologies and learning management systems.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to implement innovative teaching and assessment methods.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
