This is a remote position.
As a DevOps Engineer at Karaz you will be the backbone of our development lifecycle ensuring our engineering teams can build and deploy software rapidly and reliably. You will design build and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers our GoLang and Android applications. Your role is crucial in managing our CI/CD pipelines automating our infrastructure and ensuring the scalability reliability and security of our entire platform. You will collaborate closely with developers to streamline processes and foster a strong DevOps culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
- Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS or GCP preferred).
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI GitHub Actions Jenkins).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK/EFK Stack).
- Comfortable with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Bonus: Experience supporting GoLang-based microservices environments.
- Bonus: Knowledge of network security and cloud security best practices.
