This is a remote position.

Develop and maintain native Android applications using Java and Kotlin. You will collaborate with designers backend engineers and QA to deliver a smooth and reliable user experience for our health tech platform. Key responsibilities include integrating with RESTful APIs managing application state and data flow effectively and writing clean maintainable and testable code. You will be expected to take initiative and ownership of your work with responsibilities scaling according to your experience level.

Requirements

Strong understanding of Android SDK Android Studio and modern Android app architecture
Experience with both Java and Kotlin
Familiarity with REST APIs Git and mobile development best practices
Experience with Jetpack components MVVM architecture and integrating third-party libraries
Bonus: Experience with performance optimization for mobile applications
Bonus: Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit and Espresso
Bonus: Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
