Salary: QAR 2200 per month (based on experience and qualification).
Job Overview:
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation maintenance and repair work in the shipyard and industrial facilities. The role includes troubleshooting. Electrical systems maintaining equipment reliability and ensuring that all electrical operations comply with safety and quality standards. The candidate must have hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems and a strong understanding of control circuits motors and panels.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Install test and maintain electrical systems control panels and machinery.
Inspect electrical wiring equipment and fixtures to identify issues or potential hazards.
Diagnose electrical faults and perform effective repair and maintenance work.
Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and circuit diagrams.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety codes and regulations.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineers supervisors and other technicians for smooth workflow.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
Follow company safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Support project teams in testing commissioning and installation activities as required.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related technical field.
Experience: Minimum 36 years of experience in shipyard industrial or construction sectors.
Gulf experience preferred.
Good knowledge of electrical systems motor control circuits and power distribution.
Required Skills:
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.
Familiarity with control panels motors switches and circuit breakers.
Excellent understanding of electrical safety practices and standards.
Ability to use testing tools and instruments effectively.
Team-oriented approach with strong communication and coordination skills.
Basic English communication required; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
