Job Title: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Location: Kuwait
Gender Preference: Female preferred (Male candidates with strong experience will also be considered)
Languages Required: Fluency in Arabic and English
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing treating and preventing mental health disorders in children and adolescents. The role requires a deep understanding of child development emotional and behavioural disorders and culturally sensitive care.
Key Responsibilities:
-Evaluate diagnose and treat mental emotional and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents.
-Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
-Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate.
-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists therapists social workers and educators.
-Provide psychoeducation and counseling to families and caregivers.
-Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with medical and legal standards.
Requirements:
-Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
-Excellent interpersonal communication and diagnostic skills.
-Female candidates preferred; however male candidates with strong experience in this field will also be considered.
