Our client is looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of logistics operations ensuring efficiency cost-effectiveness and operational excellence across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full logistics function including warehousing distribution transportation and inventory management
Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with business goals and drive performance
Manage relationships with 3PL providers transporters and key supply chain stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations health and safety standards and internal policies
Monitor KPIs and use data-driven insights to optimize delivery timelines reduce costs and improve service
Lead mentor and develop the logistics team to drive accountability and high performance
Coordinate closely with procurement production and sales departments to ensure smooth end-to-end operations
Drive digital transformation and implement modern logistics technologies or systems (WMS TMS etc.)
Prepare and manage annual logistics budgets and forecasts

Key Skills

Strong leadership and strategic thinking
In-depth knowledge of logistics supply chain management and distribution networks
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage costs
Negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor contracts
Hands-on experience with ERP and logistics software systems
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field (MBA is a plus)
Minimum 8 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Experience in managing large-scale warehousing and transportation operations
Proven track record in optimizing logistics networks and driving operational efficiency
