Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Quality to lead and oversee the entire quality function of our client s organization. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of product and process quality across departments while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This leadership role involves formulating quality strategies maintaining compliance with international standards and fostering a strong culture of quality throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with company objectives and customer expectations.
Lead internal and external quality audits ensuring compliance with ISO IATF or other relevant certifications.
Define and track quality KPIs root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production Engineering R&D and Supply Chain for quality improvement.
Oversee supplier quality management evaluation audits and performance monitoring.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma Kaizen etc.) to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Handle customer complaints NCRs and ensure timely resolution with proper documentation.
Train and mentor quality teams and promote a strong quality-first culture across the organization.
Prepare and present regular quality reports and performance reviews to top management.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering or equivalent.
Master s degree (preferred) in Quality Management / Operations or Business Administration.
Certified in ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies Required:
In-depth knowledge of quality control processes tools and methodologies.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficient in using statistical quality control tools (SPC MSA FMEA APQP PPAP etc.).
Excellent communication negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in quality management software and ERP systems.
Sound knowledge of compliance standards customer audit requirements and regulatory frameworks.
