Job Title: Technology Developer- Card Management System (Cortex)

Term: 12 months

Location: Riyadh KSA

Division: Banking & Technology

Relevant experience: 4-8 years experience

Mandatory requirements: Technology knowledge of Cortex

PURPOSE OF JOB

We are seeking a skilled Technology Developer to work on the Cortex Card Management System for the successful launch of new Credit Debit and Prepaid Products. The role involves designing developing and integrating solutions that ensure seamless card issuance lifecycle management and compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

TASKS

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

System Development & Integration

Design and implement features within the Cortex platform to support launch of new products.
Develop APIs and integrations with core banking systems payment networks and third-party services.
Ensure scalability and performance of the card management system.

Customization & Configuration

Configure Cortex modules to meet business requirements for credit and debit card products.
Implement workflows for card issuance activation and lifecycle management.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Conduct unit integration and system testing to validate functionality.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure compliance with technical and business standards.

Security & Compliance

Implement security best practices for card data handling and transaction processing.
Ensure adherence to PCI DSS and other regulatory requirements.

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with product managers business analysts and technical teams to deliver solutions.
Provide technical support during launch and post-launch phases.

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Proven experience in card management systems (preferably Cortex) and payment solutions.
Strong knowledge of SQL and API development.
Familiarity with ISO 8583 EMV standards and payment network integrations.
Experience with commercial and SME card products is highly desirable

SKILLS

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards.
