Position overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to lead two strategic areas within our Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) business:

Delivery of new core product technologies from concept to Design Validation (DV) handover.
Program management of Steering Wheel Heat (SWH) and Hands On Detection (HOD) from pursuit/award to SOP90.

This role is responsible for planning executing and overseeing projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget while maintaining strong communication with senior management project teams and customers. The position may involve international travel to Lear TCS locations and extended stays to support strategic activities

Additional duties will include (but may not be limited to):

Project Management

Lead automotive programs from RFQ to SOP90.
Manage scope budget schedules and resources across multiple projects.
Maintain project data in systems like SAP Planisware and MS Project.
Drive issue resolution and change management.
Lead Management Gateway Reviews (MGRs).

Team Leadership

Build strong relationships with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
Align internal processes to meet client expectations.
Provide direction and prioritize shared resources.

Customer Engagement

Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Attend onsite meetings and support supplier partnerships.
Contribute to business development and continuous improvement.

To be a success in this role you must have:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
5 years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in SAP Planisware MS Project Excel.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Fluent in English.
Engineering experience and PMP certification are considered strong assets.
