ELV Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ELV Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As an ELV Inspector you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety compliance and optimal performance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems in various buildings and facilities throughout the region.

• Conduct thorough inspections of ELV systems including fire alarm security CCTV and access control systems
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of ELV systems
• Verify compliance with relevant codes standards and local regulations
• Identify and document deficiencies non-conformities and potential safety hazards
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with project managers contractors and clients to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of projects
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends technological advancements and changes in regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
• Travel within the region as required to perform inspections at various sites

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in ELV systems inspection or related field
• In-depth knowledge of ELV systems including fire alarm security CCTV and access control
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g. NFPA IEC)
• Familiarity with building management systems
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
• Relevant certifications such as NICET or CFPS preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel within the region for inspections
• Proficiency in using computer software for report writing and data analysis
