We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Design Manager - Fit Out to join our dynamic team in Doha Qatar. As the Design Manager you will lead and oversee interior design and fit-out projects ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and adhere to local regulations.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of fit-out design projects from concept to completion
- Lead and mentor a team of designers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource allocations
- Collaborate with clients architects contractors and suppliers to ensure project success
- Review and approve design concepts drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with local building codes regulations and sustainability standards
- Present design concepts and project updates to clients and stakeholders
- Implement quality control measures throughout the design process
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovative design solutions
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 12 years of experience in interior design or fit-out projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit or similar design software
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing design teams
- Advanced knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Qatar
- Understanding of sustainable design practices and their application in fit-out projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Experience with both commercial and residential fit-out projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
