Job Summary:
AJM Kooheji Group is seeking a skilled CNC Operator / Programmer with hands-on experience in the furniture manufacturing industry specifically in woodworking and wood-based products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both the programming and operation of CNC machinery to produce high-precision furniture components ensuring quality efficiency and adherence to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up operate and monitor CNC machines (e.g. routers milling machines) for woodworking.
Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and CAD files to program CNC equipment.
Create and modify CNC programs using appropriate software (e.g. AutoCAD Mastercam or similar).
Ensure the accurate production of wood furniture parts to meet quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize workflow and material usage.
Maintain proper documentation for CNC programs machine settings and production logs.
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet design specifications.
Adhere to company safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer in the furniture or woodworking industry.
Strong knowledge of CNC machinery tools and woodworking processes.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using CAM/CAD software.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Vocational or technical training in CNC machining or woodworking.
Experience with different types of wood materials and furniture components.
Familiarity with safety and quality control procedures in manufacturing.
