VAM Systems is currently looking for Infrastructure & Cloud Architect for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Requirements:

58 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture including at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS with proven ability to design deploy and manage scalable cloud solutions.
Strong experience with multi-account AWS environments cost control and billing management.
Experienced in AWS Services like Compute Storage Backup IAM Cloud watch Lambda etc.
Experienced in IaaS - Cloud formation
Experienced in AWS services like Security Groups NACL Palo Alto firewall etc
Experienced in cloud Security - WAF implementation Key management SSL Certificate management
Expertise in Linux (Red Hat)
AWS certification (Solutions Architect Professional or Associate) preferred.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the transition planning and handover of AWS accounts services and billing setup of Core systems from Core vendor.
Design deploy and manage cloud infrastructure solutions (primarily on AWS) including compute storage networking and security services.
Architect and manage hybrid environments integrating physical virtual on-prem and cloud resources.
Ensure high availability scalability and performance of cloud and on-prem infrastructure in alignment with security baselines and best practices.
Plan implement and manage cloud-native storage and backup solutions (e.g. Amazon S3 EBS Glacier Backup).
Conduct capacity planning and resource optimization across cloud and on-premise systems.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. CloudFormation Terraform).
Implement and monitor cloud security controls including IAM policies encryption security groups and compliance frameworks.
Manage cloud service cost optimization licensing and usage tracking across multiple environments.
Monitor system health and performance perform troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure and backup failures and lead root cause analysis.
