ملخص الوظيفة
Read and interpret fabrication drawings isometric drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and cutting plans.
Measure mark cut and shape metal components using tools such as grinders gas torches and cutting machines.
Assemble and tack weld components to prepare for full welding.
Ensure proper fit-up alignment and dimensions before final welding.
Use fabrication tools like drills shears bending machines and plasma cutters.
Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintain tools equipment and a clean organized work environment.
Report any material shortages defects or equipment issues to supervisors.
Support field installation or site work if required.
Requirements
Education & Certifications:
High school diploma / ITI / Technical certification in fabrication or a related field.
Vocational training or trade certificate in metalwork or fabrication (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 24 years of experience as a Fabricator in construction oil & gas or industrial fabrication.
Experience in pipe structural or sheet metal fabrication is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and work independently.
Skilled in using hand and power tools cutting and measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of welding especially tack welding or MIG welding.
Strong focus on quality accuracy and safety.
Physically fit to handle heavy materials and work in various environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience on GCC-based projects or shutdowns.
Knowledge of international fabrication standards
