Job Summary
The role holder is responsible for assembling maintaining and repairing Fitness items supplied to GMG customers in stores as well as outdoor locations.
Accountabilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Repairs and assembles fitness equipments as per the requirements and specifications of the product/ Brand
- Tests the unit once installed to ensure all functionalities are properly running
- Keep the inventory of the workshop updated.
- Provide feedback on repairs and be a part of the mechanic and office team.
- Be customer service oriented and personable educates customers on service features and functionality as you are the face of our company when you deliver & service machines.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations while installing and testing the equipments.
- Ensures that all tools and equipment used during work are in good safe working order
- Refurbishes and fabricates the returned and damaged fitness machines as necessary
- Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by line manager from time to time
Self-Management:
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
- Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan
- Keeps abreast of professional developments new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth
Educational Qualifications and Certificates
- High School / Diploma Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience
- A minimum of 3 -5 years of relevant experience
- Experience repairing and maintaining the known Fitness brands is preferred
Skills
Language skills
Arabic Spoken is preferred.
English / Hindi / Urdu
Additional skills
- Basic carpentry mechanical and electronics experience
- Customer service orientation
