As Sous Chef Lebanese Cuisine at MGallery you will support the Executive Chef in leading the culinary team to craft authentic Lebanese dishes that celebrate tradition while inspiring modern taste. Your expertise will ensure that every plate reflects our passion for quality creativity and the art of hospitality.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations with a focus on authentic Lebanese cuisine.

  • Lead and inspire the culinary team in preparing cooking and presenting high-quality Lebanese dishes for à la carte buffet and banquet services.

  • Ensure that all recipes presentations and flavors remain consistent and in line with MGallery and brand standards.

  • Develop and innovate menu offerings that balance authenticity with creativity reflecting local and seasonal ingredients.

  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene cleanliness and food safety as per HACCP guidelines.

  • Supervise mise-en-place preparation and ensure the smooth flow of kitchen operations during service.

  • Train and mentor junior chefs fostering a culture of excellence teamwork and continuous learning.

  • Control food costs through efficient inventory management portion control and waste reduction.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B team in planning menus for special events promotions and seasonal offerings.

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining attention to detail taste and presentation in every dish served.


Qualifications :

 

Your experience and skills include:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Lebanese or Middle Eastern cuisine preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment

  • Culinary diploma or professional certification in culinary arts

  • In-depth knowledge of Lebanese ingredients cooking techniques and presentation styles

  • Strong leadership communication and organizational skills

  • Creativity and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Understanding of food safety hygiene and HACCP standards
