The Role:

As an Assistant General Manager you will be the individual who is ready to make a mark in this upmarket company in Kuwait where the team are passionate and hardworking. You will thrive on creating relationships with guests and developing your team.

Responsibilities:

This role will see you report to the Restaurant Manager. Furthermore the Assistant General Manager will have style and flair someone who thinks outside of the box and delivers 1st class service at all time by knowing the regulars. You will have an important role in the successful operations of the brand as it is introduced to the region and on training program provides numerous opportunities for career growth those employees to take their initiative to excel at the job.

Skills and Experience:

The ability to delegate and lead a team of 100 or more individuals.

Has the ability to problem solve and handle high stress situation.

Extensive knowledge of financial reports.

An effective communicator.

Good understanding of leadership

Entrepreneurial spirit.

Ensure that the cleanliness of the restaurant maintained at all time.

Maintains culture and ensures a safe and healthy work environment for staff and managers.

Understands and practices safe food handling procedures.

Manages through hands on supervision of restaurant this includes but is not limited to non scheduled assistance with serving hosting cooking etc....

Assists in managing appropriate inventory and assists in completing daily /weekly/monthly sales reports.

Identify & recommend opportunities to increase sales through suggestive selling .

3 years or more as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a full service restaurant concept.

Ensure cost handling & till point procedures is handled with accuracy & as per policy.

Ensures implementation of health & safety food hygiene & Local legislation at all times of operations

Ensure all company policies & procedures are adhered to.

The ability of multi tasks in a high pressure environment.
