Job Title: Full-Time Faculty English Foundation Program Instructor

Classification: Faculty (Institutional Support)
Reports To: Dean School of Arts and Sciences
Location: Kuwait City Kuwait

Job Purpose
American International University (AIU) is seeking a full-time English Foundation Program Instructor for immediate start in the academic year. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality English instruction support student learning and contribute to AIUs mission of fostering academic excellence and student success in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Teach a full-time faculty course load in the English Foundation Program
Prepare and deliver lessons that build students reading writing speaking and listening proficiency
Provide mentorship feedback and academic advising to students
Contribute to curriculum design and ongoing program improvement
Participate in departmental meetings faculty development and university-wide initiatives
Promote student engagement and academic integrity across the program

Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong communication and instructional skills in English (language of instruction is English)
Demonstrated ability to teach English for academic and general purposes
Commitment to student learning engagement and development
Ability to collaborate with diverse faculty and student populations
Proficiency in instructional technology and learning management systems

Education and Experience
Masters degree or higher in English TESOL Applied Linguistics or a closely related field preferred
University-level teaching experience preferred
Industry or practical experience related to language instruction advantageous
