About the Company:
One Hour San Diego is a fast-growing HVAC company serving residential customers across San Diego County. With a focus on professionalism timeliness and quality service were building a strong back office to support our operational growth. The bookkeeping function is currently handled by the owner and urgently needs to be handed off to a reliable detail-oriented expert.
What Youll Do:
- Set up and manage QuickBooks Online ensuring clean integration with Service Titan
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts regularly
- Track income and expenses generate monthly reports and flag anomalies
- Assist in preparing financial documents for tax filing and internal planning
- Manage accounts payable and receivable including vendor payments
- Work with the owner to clean up a 5-month bookkeeping backlog and bring systems current
- Update project costs in Service Titan as vendor invoices come in
What Were Looking For:
- 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper ideally supporting U.S.-based businesses
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets
- Ability to understand and match HVAC service business expenses and revenue
- Experience with or willingness to learn Service Titan
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent written communication and reliability
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience working with home service companies (HVAC plumbing electrical etc.)
- Familiarity with U.S. tax and accounting standards
- Prior remote work experience or background supporting small business owners
