Job Title: Electrical Assistant
Location: Manama Bahrain
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Assistant to join the Quality Safety Technology team. As an Electrical Assistant you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation testing and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential electrical hazards
- Implement and enforce quality and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the quality team to identify and address quality issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety training programs
- Maintain accurate records of electrical testing maintenance and safety inspections
- Support the team in investigating electrical incidents and near-miss incidents
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in electrical safety and quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards (e.g. NFPA OSHA)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in electrical safety (e.g. CESCP OSHA certification)
- Experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Knowledge of electrical design software (e.g. Autodesk EPLAN)
