Startup Program Executive Acquisition and Pitch Competitions Focus 6 month contract role

Please note this is a temporary contract starting in October/November and ending in May 2026.

An exciting role has opened up in the Investor and Startup team to enhance and build out our pitch competitions for an individual looking to experience the VC ecosystem in Saudi Arabia and learn about startup from the team responsible for LEAP Money20/20 Middle East. Blackhat and LEAP EAST. 

The Startup Acquisition Executive would identify high-potential startups across various industries communicate the value of our events and facilitate connections with investors media partners and customers.

1) Support with the administration of our Startup Pitch Competitions: 

• Outreach to global startups and scaleups to apply for the program
• Ensure that all startup applications have been vetted
• Liaise with all competition semi-final and grand finale judges             
• Run the competition on site in conjunction with the AV team and other members of the Investor & Startup Team

2) Work with the cross-functional teams to source the highest quality startups and ensure all startup competition entrants are legitimately registered as exhibitors

3) Collaborate with the investor team to source competition judges

4) Support with ad hoc requirements across our investor and startup programs 

5) Database Management and Analysis: Maintain accurate databases of startups across all events

6)Post-Event Evaluation and Improvement:

• Gather feedback to evaluate conference success and identify areas for enhancement.
• Contribute insights for continuous improvement and future event planning.
• Support with LEAP Impact reporting 

Qualifications :

Candidate should have some basis of knowledge about Venture Capital and knowledge of the Startup ecosystem. Written English mandatory and spoken Arabic is preferable. Candidate should be organised curious and motivated to work in a fast paced engaged team.
