Job Summary
The Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves building and optimizing data models dashboards and reporting tools while ensuring accuracy scalability and performance of BI systems. The BI Engineer will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain BI dashboards reports and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI Tableau or Qlik.
- Design develop and maintain semantic model using tools such as Power BI Tableau SSAS
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends anomalies and opportunities for business improvement.
- Ensure data integrity quality and accuracy across BI systems.
- Monitor BI solutions for performance and implement improvements where necessary.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and new BI technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in CS IS or related field.
- Proven experience 3 years as a BI Engineer Data Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI Tableau Qlik SSAS).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts OLAP and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Python R or other scripting languages for data analysis.
- Previous experience in Banking sector or Telecom or Public Sector.
