ClearGrid is revolutionizing the debt resolution industry with cutting-edge AI and advanced analytics. We leverage real-time data machine learning and automation to optimize debt recovery for financial institutions. As we scale our data platform were looking for a Data Engineer to help design build and maintain the data pipelines and infrastructure that power our AI-driven solutions.

Role Overview
Were looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in data orchestration transformation and cloud this role youll own the design and maintenance of scalable data flows develop APIs and ensure our data platform runs reliably as client data is ingested processed and transformed. Youll collaborate closely with product data and engineering teams to optimize pipelines ensure data quality and support analytics and AI initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building robust data systems is comfortable with modern orchestration tools like Prefect and can balance hands-on coding with architectural decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python Prefect and dbt.

Develop and manage data models in the data warehouse to support analytics and business intelligence.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs to make data accessible to internal and external services.

Integrate Generative AI models and tools to enhance data processing analysis and insights.

Manage and optimize MySQL databases for high performance and reliability.

Work with GCP and AWS to build and maintain a secure scalable cloud-based data platform.

Implement data quality checks and governance best practices to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Collaborate with analysts data scientists and other stakeholders to meet data needs.

Monitor troubleshoot and optimize the performance of data pipelines and infrastructure.

Requirements

35 years of experience in a data engineering role.

Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and API development.

Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Prefect.

Proficiency in data modeling and transformation with dbt.

Familiarity with Generative AI concepts models and their application in data engineering.

Strong experience with relational databases particularly MySQL.

Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP (BigQuery Cloud Storage Cloud Functions) and AWS (S3 EC2 RDS).

Proven ability to design build and maintain APIs (Flask FastAPI or similar)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
