Industry Energy technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment process flow transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines compressors and expanders.

As a Repair Development and Liaison Engineer you will also be responsible for:
- Supporting HD Shop Requests: 100% repair shop technical cases and NCRs accountability to meet OTD target > YoY%
- Supporting the shop with the quarterly target by identifying where and when the proper support from several engineering function is needed.
- Identifying opportunities for repair productivity enhancements cost reduction and new processes development
- Supporting qualification and industrialization process according to COE needs
- Supporting the repair process development and productivity according to business need YoY.
- Working together with business leadership.
- Delivering products/services as part of a team. Works on cross functional teams.
- Identifying proposing and implementing qualification of the repair solutions
- Communicating to all levels of the organization
- coordinating with other Repair Engineering functions with COE Shop network and all the Engineering functions.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering/Technology.
- Previous experience in Repair Development.

- Have interpersonal and leadership skills. Be able to influence others and lead small teams. Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Be able to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
- Have problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
- Have a design materials and/or process background be familiar and have hand-on experience about turbomachinery components
- Have proven project management skills and ability to monitor and communicate business issues and significant developments.
