Job Description:

Key Process Knowledge

The consultant must demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

  • Core HR (Employee Central Master Data) Employee lifecycle management (hire to retire) personal data job information employment contracts.
  • Position Management Position creation hierarchies and reporting structures.
  • Organization Management Business units divisions departments cost centers legal entities.
  • Time-Off & Absence Management Leave policies accrual rules time accounts calendars.
  • Global Benefits Benefits eligibility enrollment and integration with payroll.
  • Global Assignments Handling international transfers secondments and expatriate assignments.
  • Payroll Integration Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or integration to SAP HCM Payroll / third-party payroll providers.
  • Workflows & Approvals Dynamic role-based workflows for HR processes.
  • Compliance & Localization Global and country-specific EC configurations (payroll tax labor law).
  • Reporting & Analytics Advanced reporting People Analytics dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirement workshops with HR stakeholders to capture global & local needs.
  • Configure SuccessFactors Employee Central modules including Core HR Position Management Time-Off and Benefits.
  • Define and implement workflows business rules and role-based permissions (RBP).
  • Lead integration design between EC SAP Payroll (ECP or on-prem HCM) SAP Finance and third-party systems.
  • Support data migration activities (from legacy HR systems to EC).
  • Provide end-user training change management and post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with SuccessFactors consultants across Talent modules (Performance Learning Recruiting) for full HCM transformation.
  • Ensure system compliance with country-specific legal tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize HR processes with self-service capabilities (ESS/MSS via EC & Fiori).
  • Work with People Analytics tools to deliver real-time HR insights.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration or Information Systems.
  • SAP Certified Application Associate SuccessFactors Employee Central (mandatory).
  • Additional SuccessFactors certifications (e.g. Payroll Time-Off Performance & Goals) are a plus.

Experience

  • 58 years of SAP SuccessFactors experience with at least 23 full lifecycle EC implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of core HR Time-Off Position Management and Payroll integration.
  • Experience in multi-country EC rollouts and localization.
  • Familiarity with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) / Dell Boomi / middleware tools for EC integration.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Expertise in Employee Central configuration workflows and RBP.
  • Knowledge of Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and payroll integration.
  • Understanding of data migration HR reporting and People Analytics.
  • Familiarity with integration to SAP S/4HANA Finance HCM and third-party systems.

Soft Skills

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with HR leadership.
  • Ability to work in global HR transformation programs with multi-country scope.
  • Excellent communication training and documentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on HR process optimization and compliance
