ReserveOut is seeking to fill a Java Developer position for its office based in Amman. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to work in an exciting creative and challenging environment with a large potential of growth.

The ReserveOutplatform developerd by usconnects offline businesses such as restaurants with their clients through multiple online channels. Using ReserveOut diners can search view and reserve with restaurants via web or mobile. Reservations are always live immediate and free to the user. Additionally ReserveOutprovides restaurants with an onsite solution for reservation and table management Customer relationship management and comprehensive statistical reporting. Furthermore ReserveOutenables restaurants to accept reservations 24/7 offer Loyalty schemes and seamlessly integrate with Facebook and social media applications.
About the role
As a software developer at ReserveOut you will have the opportunity to work on enterprise class highly concurrent and distributed systems driving a range of online mobile and desktop products. The new hire will initially be involved in the development of core backend services relating to reporting and invoicing. Additionally the candidate will be working on developing an online portal for restaurant managers to view and manage their existing restaurant details view reports analyse trends etc.
Skills required
We are looking for self-motivated individual with two to five years of experience in the field of Java development. Candidate must be an innovative problem solver with a make-it-happen attitude who is able to work independently and meet aggressive deadlines . Excellent English writing and communications skills is a must.
Key skills for this position include (The more the better):
- Core Java Development (Collections Generics Annotations Threading JDBC)
- JEE technologies: Servlets JSPs JSTL
- Web Technologies: HTML CSS JavaScript AJAX JQuery
- SQL (Queries Stored procedures and Triggers) preferably using MySQL
- Aptitude for technology enthusiasm for problem solving and eagerness to learn
In addition knowledge of the following would be a great plus to your application: JMS Cryptography (Authentication and Access Control) Spring Framework Perl Linux MySQL JUnit Social Networking Site integration (Facebook Twitter FourSquare)
