We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee our QA operations in the oil and gas sector with a specific focus on chemicals and drilling fluids. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ISO standards internal and external auditing processes and a strong background in managing quality systems for chemical products used in drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001 ISO 14001).
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance for chemical products and drilling fluids used in oil and gas operations.
Plan coordinate and conduct internal audits; facilitate and support external audits by clients or certification bodies.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant industry regulations company policies and customer requirements.
Analyze audit findings and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with R&D Production and HSE teams to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.
Train and mentor QA/QC teams to uphold quality standards across departments.
Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding quality concerns non-conformities and improvement opportunities.
Prepare and present regular QA performance reports to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of QA experience in the oil and gas industry specifically with chemicals and drilling fluids.
Strong working knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001 ISO 14001 etc.).
Proven experience conducting internal and external audits; certified lead auditor qualification is a plus.
Excellent understanding of quality control assurance methodologies and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical leadership and communication skills.
Experience working in Saudi Arabia or with Saudi clients/projects is highly preferred.
Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
