General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for the construction project.
- Work closely with project sponsor cross-functional teams and assigned project managers to develop the scope deliverables required resources work plan budget and timing for new initiatives.
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
- Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
- Analyze evaluate and overcome program risks and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Communicate with the Clients representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concerns.
- Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls contracts and quality control provisions.
- Direct work sequencing to expedite projects delivery and to minimize disruption of ongoing operations.
- Ensure that projects operations are in compliance with design specifications and with client requirements.
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 20 years experience in managing large-scale infrastructure water programs consist of multiple projects.
- Experience of major government and/or semi-government program and projects implementations.
- Extensive Experience in the construction management of water and wastewater works.
- Experience of implementing a zero-accident philosophy.
- A record of engagement with government entities / utility providers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of working internationally.
