Job Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guides to join our team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about sharing the history culture and attractions of Saudi Arabia with visitors from worldwide. As a Tour Guide you will be responsible for leading groups on tours providing informative and engaging commentary and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct guided tours to various historical cultural and natural sites across Saudi Arabia.
Provide detailed information about the locations visited including historical facts cultural significance and interesting anecdotes.
Answer questions and engage with tour participants to enhance their experience and understanding.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all tour participants throughout the tour.
Assist with logistical arrangements such as transportation and scheduling.
Stay informed about new attractions events and changes in existing sites to keep tour content up-to-date.
Handle any unexpected situations or emergencies calmly and efficiently.
Promote respect for local customs traditions and the environment.
Collect feedback from tour participants to continually improve tour quality.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in tourism history or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience as a tour guide or in a customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian history culture and geography.
Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Friendly outgoing personality with a passion for working with people.
Ability to handle physical activity including walking and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver s license.
Tour guide licenses from MOT (preferred)
