الوصف الوظيفي
- Power System Maintenance: Inspect maintain and repair power systems including generators UPS systems and electrical panels to ensure a consistent power supply for critical immigration systems.
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical equipment minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of failures.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations particularly when working with high-voltage equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities equipment performance and repairs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and facilities teams to address power-related issues affecting immigration systems.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to power outages or equipment failures to restore operations as quickly as possible.
Requirements
- Diploma or associate degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 5 years of experience in power systems maintenance preferably in industries with critical operations (e.g. IT government or immigration).
- Hands-on experience with generators UPS systems and HVAC equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring circuit breakers and control systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations for working with electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced mission-critical environment.
- Relevant certifications to enhance qualifications include but not limited to: o Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) o Electrical Safety Certification (e.g. NFPA 70E) o HVAC Certification (if applicable) o OSHA Safety Certification
- Fluency in both English and Kiswahili (spoken and written).
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is a plus.
- Tanzanian national only.
