Senior Mechanical Engineer (Onshore Pipelines) Doha, Qatar

We are looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Onshore Pipelines) for a national oil and gas operator in Doha must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant post graduate experience in Oil & Gas industry of which 6 years should be in Pipeline in English is a Responsibilities:Conduct Pipeline Engineering activities for projects from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies FEED detailed design and commissioningCreate develop and review work-scopes for projects and other engineering activitiesEnsure the work-scope is comprehensive and clearEnsure the required client technical assurance practices engineering standards environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed in work-scopes and whilst conducting Pipeline Engineering activities Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines codes standards and practicesSupport Engineering Department to review update and apply client standards and clients amendment to external standardsPlan and coordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet the project requirementsCarry out in-house site surveys engineering and designProduce review check and approve in-house designs and specificationsCoordinate designs specifications and work-scopes created by multi-disciplinary engineering teamsReview and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance Liaise with contracted organisations to resolve technical issuesDevelop update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activitiesConduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope complianceReview and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and practicesSupport the development of personal technical competency and skills and those of Co-workers Participate in structured training for Associate EngineersRequirements:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering (or similar)Chartered/Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferableMinimum 10 years of relevant post graduate experience in Oil & Gas industry of which 6 years should be in Pipeline EngineeringAbility to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and codes related to Pipeline EngineeringProven ability to manage time cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environmentFluency in English with good verbal and writing communication skills and proficiency for conducting presentations RequirementsWhere are you locatedWhats your nationalityWhat is your notice period; when can you engage this jobPlease only apply and press yes if you have read the requirements education experience and certifications and match Qatar
