Overview of the Position
We are looking to hire a diligent and service-minded Housekeeper to join our clients growing team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms and public areas to the highest standard. If you have a strong work ethic attention to detail and previous experience in housekeeping at a quality hotel we d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms bathrooms and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Replenish guest amenities linens and supplies.
- Report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items promptly.
- Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Follow health safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Deliver timely turndown service and respond to guest requests professionally.
- Support laundry and linen management when needed.
- Work efficiently under supervision and contribute to team cleanliness goals.
Requirements
- 2 - 3 years of housekeeping experience in a reputable hotel.
- Attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and order.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Tarime Tanzania.
- Basic English; Kiswahili proficiency is an advantage.
- Polite respectful and guest-service oriented.
