Job Summary/Objective
The Managed Services Engineer Exchange Professional is responsible for delivering reliable secure and efficient managed services across Exchange M365 and core infrastructure. This role ensures operational excellence by supporting administering and optimizing systems to maintain business continuity data protection and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Management & Technical Support
Provide service management and operations for Infrastructure Exchange and M365 to ensure continuous service availability stability and business productivity.
Deliver L2/L3 technical support for end users and backend systems to resolve incidents efficiently reduce downtime and improve user satisfaction.
Proactively respond to alerts and monitoring notifications to prevent service disruptions and address issues before escalation.
Platform Administration & Optimization
- Administer and configure Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 services to support identity and access management and ensure secure service delivery.
- Monitor and manage AD synchronization between on-premises and Azure AD to maintain identity consistency across hybrid environments.
- Conduct quarterly performance optimization activities to enhance system performance resource utilization and service stability.
- Security & Compliance
- Maintain and enforce M365 security strategies policies and procedures to align with the organizations security posture and compliance mandates.
- Apply geographic-based conditions MFA and least privileged access to safeguard access control and reduce risk exposure.
- Analyze logs and alerts for phishing malware and fraud using Proof-point to protect the organization from advanced email threats and minimize attack surfaces.
- Backup & Data Protection
- Manage and configure Veeam cloud-based backup for M365 to ensure data recovery readiness and business continuity.
- Control and monitor data backup retention and recovery operations to meet SLAs and data governance requirements.
- Infrastructure Management
- Install monitor and configure Windows Server roles (AD DNS DHCP WSUS File/Print) to ensure core infrastructure services are operational and up to date.
- Manage accounts groups and enforce security policies via Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to standardize user environments and enforce IT security baselines.
- Oversee virtual infrastructure and ensure reliable data protection to optimize resource allocation and maintain system resiliency.
- Vendor Coordination & Strategic Planning
- Coordinate with suppliers for support and warranty claims to ensure timely resolution of hardware/software issues and maintain SLAs.
- Recommend system enhancements and contribute to IT budget planning to support long-term infrastructure scalability and cost-efficiency.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and consultants to ensure quality services and alignment with business goals.

Education
Certification Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration equivalent.
