Architect Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architect Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As an Architect Inspector you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality safety and compliance of architectural projects throughout the city and surrounding areas.

• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and construction sites to verify compliance with local building codes regulations and approved plans
• Review architectural plans blueprints and specifications for accuracy and adherence to standards
• Identify and document structural or design issues code violations and safety hazards
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to resolve design and construction issues
• Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes regulations and industry best practices
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide guidance on compliance requirements
• Perform final inspections and issue occupancy permits when appropriate
• Travel to various sites within Riyadh and surrounding areas as needed
• Evaluate projects for adherence to sustainable building practices and green building standards
• Ensure compliance with local zoning laws and urban planning regulations

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Architecture Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in architecture or building inspection
• Professional certification in building inspection (e.g. ICC certification)
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations particularly those applicable in Saudi Arabia
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural plans and blueprints
• Familiarity with local construction practices and materials used in Saudi Arabia
• Experience with construction site inspections and safety protocols
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel within Riyadh and surrounding areas for on-site inspections
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building standards
• Familiarity with local zoning laws and urban planning regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ethical practices
