- Travel to remote locations inside Saudi Arabia and conduct the various ASTM testing as per MOE requirements.
- Familiar with fundamental petroleum ASTM procedures.
- Ensure the daily SQC is run and verify the instrument is working properly.
- Responsible for analyzing variate of samples (MOE & Customs) interpreting data and take appropriate actions as required.
- Update the results of sample received on the FIMS daily and inform the Lab supervisor for his review and authorization.
- Generate the reports and send by email if required. Maintain legible traceable raw data.
- Retain the Sample in the storage and disposal as per Local EPA guidelines.
- Ensure routine equipments maintenance verification and calibration are performed as per schedule.
- Monitor the performance of Lab equipments in safe manner and take an immediate use if required.
- Responsible to maintain the minimum Spare parts and other consumables inventory.
- Prepare daily weekly chemicals stock / consumption reports and inform Supervisor for requesting stock items / chemicals necessary for operating the Lab.
- Responsible to maintain the Mobile lab conditions power generator and truck maintenance.
- Have a good coordination with MOE personnels.
- Ensure Impartiality and confidentiality in performing the Lab tasks.
- Responsible to have good Housekeeping inside the Lab.
- Report instances of non-conformances to the appropriate line management.
Intervene when an unsafe act or condition is observed
Qualifications :
Degree/Diploma in Chemistry/Petrochemicals
Additional Information :
- Familiarization with the basic petroleum ASTM methods & best laboratory practices.
- Able to interact with all levels of management and clients.
- Able to conduct risk assessments.
- Good knowledge of software and computer skills.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laboratory safety procedures.
- Good communication skills in English
