Nestled in between the dramatic backdrop of rugged mountains and the pristine waters of the Sea of Oman Shangri-Las Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa is set on 124 acres of stunning scenery and home to three spectacular hotels: the family orientated Al Waha comprises 262 rooms the diverse Al Bandar comprises 198 deluxe rooms and the luxurious and most exclusive Al Husn has 180 elegantly appointed guestrooms and suites. The resort also features 22 Food and Beverage outlets 1056 sqm ballroom with 8 breakout rooms wide variety of recreational facilities and a spa with 12 treatment villas.
Job Summary:
The Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and meets the standards of the establishment. She will take orders serve food and beverages and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
Present menus take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar.
Serve food and drinks promptly and according to service standards.
Ensure guests satisfaction by checking on them during meals and handling any complaints professionally.
Set up and clean tables ensuring the dining area is tidy at all times.
Assist in the preparation and closing of the restaurant including restocking cleaning and organizing.
Follow all safety and hygiene procedures as per company standards.
Promote menu items and upsell when appropriate.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar team for seamless service delivery.
Process guest bills and handle payments accurately.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a waitress or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
Good communication skills in English and Russian
Positive attitude friendly personality and professional grooming.
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
