Commis lll

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Commis lll to join our culinary team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will assist in preparing high-quality dishes maintaining kitchen standards and contributing to our commitment to culinary excellence.

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and chefs instructions
• Perform mise en place tasks including chopping vegetables preparing sauces and portioning ingredients
• Maintain a clean and organized work station adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient food production
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and special events
• Contribute ideas for menu development and dish improvements
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly
• Adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Participate in ongoing culinary training and skill development

Qualifications :

• Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
• 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
• Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment tools and their proper usage
• Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Demonstrated ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for recipe calculations and conversions
• Valid food safety certification
• Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking styles
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
