About this job:
QSourcing Tanzania Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania Uganda Kenya Rwanda and South Sudan.
On behalf of our Tanzania based client we are looking for a competent and experienced Assembler
POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION:

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Assembler is responsible for assembling trailer and body structures installing subsystems and fittings and ensuring quality standards are met through inspections and quality checks. This role requires proficiency in reading drawings and work instructions handling tools effectively and maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate is committed to quality safety and teamwork with a solid understanding of mechanical assembly and fitting.

Reading Drawings and Work Instructions
Installation of Subsystems and Fittings
Inspection & Quality Checks
Tool Handling & Maintenance
Workplace Safety & Cleanliness
Requirements
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education:
Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Fitting Metal Fabrication Automotive Engineering or a related field.
Preferred: VETAcertified or technical training from a Tanzanian institution.
Experience:
1 3 years of experience in vehicle assembly trailer fitting or general mechanical assembly.
Competencies:
Basic mechanical assembly and fitting knowledge.
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and measurements.
Familiarity with tools such as drills impact guns hand saws and riveters.
Physical strength stamina and handeye coordination.
Strong teamwork reliability and good communication skills in Swahili and English.
Commitment to quality and safety standards.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cable manufacturing or a similar production environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating Bunching 630, Lead Machine, Mica Tapping, and Pairing machines. Understanding of cable insulation, wiring, and electrical standards. Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance knowledge. Soft Skills: Attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
