Senior Embedded Engineer, Graviton

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (Iot) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

At the platforms team youll be working on large and complicated boards bringing our Silicon devices into the AWS fleet. Are you ready to join the future

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar
5 years of professional experience in software development
5 years of experience coding in lowlevel C
Experience with firmware development
Knowledge and good understanding of HW SW and the entire System view

Experience with modern multicore ARM devices
Experience with SoC development life cycle
Experience with HW/SW interfaces on the board and chip level (e.g. I2C SPI DRAM PCIe)
Driver development on baremetal systems or realtime operating
Deep understanding of computer architecture
Experience with driver development
Experience with boot loader
