Commis I Pastry
Assisting in the preparation and presentation of highquality desserts and baked goods. You will work alongside the pastry team helping to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
- Prepare and present a variety of pastries cakes desserts and baked items under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef.
- Follow recipes portion controls and presentation specifications set by the kitchen leadership.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items according to safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Assist in daily mise en place and ensure consistency in product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute creative ideas to enhance the pastry menu.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 12 years of experience in a pastry kitchen within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts Pastry or Baking is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for baking and dessert presentation.
- A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic culinary team.
