الوصف الوظيفي
- Conduct geological surveys and exploration activities to identify gold deposits.
- Oversee and manage blasting activities in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Monitor and report on the progress of gold exploration projects ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
- Manage both openpit and underground mining operations ensuring safe and efficient processes.
- Work closely with mining teams to implement best practices in excavation drilling and ore extraction.
- Maintain accurate geological records and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
- Provide guidance and training to junior geologists and other field staff.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental compliance in all mining operations.
- Travel frequently to remote mining sites for exploration and operational management.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree or higher in Geology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in gold exploration particularly within Tanzania.
- Proficient knowledge of mining operations including blasting openpit and underground mining techniques.
- Strong understanding of geological software and tools used in exploration and mining operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote field locations.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to and work in remote locations for extended periods.
