The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical images providing accurate diagnoses and contributing to patient management and treatment planning. The role requires expertise in a wide range of imaging modalities including Xray CT MRI and ultrasound with optional subspecialty expertise in areas such as interventional radiology neuroradiology musculoskeletal imaging or oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and report on a variety of diagnostic imaging studies including Xray ultrasound CT MRI and fluoroscopy.
Provide expert opinions and collaborate with referring clinicians to aid in patient diagnosis and management.
Perform imageguided procedures where applicable including biopsies drainages and other interventional techniques.
Ensure highquality imaging standards and adherence to safety protocols including radiation protection measures.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings case discussions and clinical audits to enhance patient care.
Supervise and provide guidance to junior doctors radiographers and medical students.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and the development of departmental protocols.
Stay updated with advancements in radiology emerging technologies and best practices through continuous professional development.

Education & Certification:
Medical degree (MBBS MD or equivalent).
Board certification or fellowship in Radiology (e.g. FRCR ABR FRCPC FRANZCR or equivalent).
Valid medical license/registration to practice as a Consultant Radiologist.
Experience:
Minimum 3 5 years of postfellowship experience in diagnostic radiology.
Expertise in general radiology; subspecialty experience is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills in interpreting imaging studies.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with medical professionals.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high accuracy in reporting.
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced clinical environment.
Proficiency in using modern radiology software and PACS systems.
