DescriptionOverview:We are looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Building Services Engineering utility network layouts onshore/ offshore Oil and Gas in English is a Responsibilities:Provide technical design and engineering services in Mechanical Building Services Engineering for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with procedures whilst considering quality schedule cost and the required technical assurance practices engineering standards environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed in workscopes and whilst conducting Mechanical Building Services Engineering activities. Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines codes standards and practicesDirectly responsible for ensuring Mechanical Building Services design/engineering Consultants/ Contractors deliverables comply with requirements. Assesses and approves/recommends suitability of Mechanical Building Services engineering submissions by Consultants/ContractorsSingle point technical responsibility and accountability for assigned projects within Mechanical Building Services design/engineering area of Engineering Department to review update and apply standards and amendments to external and coordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet project engineering designs develop and review multidisciplinary workscopes for projects and other engineering activities. Ensure the workscope is comprehensive and and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance. Liaise with contracted organisations to resolve technical update and monitor schedules for inhouse engineering activities contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project evaluation of technical bid packages for scope for evaluation assessment and recommendation of new vendors proposed during project and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and and recommend technical suitability of Tenderers to perform work within Mechanical Building Services engineering areas of and accountable for technical integrity and safety of minimal guidance and accomplishments not subject to third party design the development of personal technical competency and skills and those of :Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Building Services Engineering or Building Environmental Professional Engineer status or equivalent is 10 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Building Services Engineering (e.g. HVAC plumbing drainage irrigation building compressed air building medical gas) utility network layouts onshore/offshore Oil & Gas installations with Consultant/ Contractor and/ or client lead in use of design software such as Carrier E20 Hevacomp and Knowledgeable in drafting software such as in construction commissioning and startup working within multi discipline/cultural in resolving technical challenges related to Mechanical Building Services and adjacent discipline to prioritise and conclude multiple tasks in a timely manner to meet scheduled deadlines alongside unscheduled urgent to coordinate with and promote teamwork amongst stakeholders coworkers and external in English with good verbal and writing communication skills and proficiency for conducting are you locatedWhats your nationalityWhat is your notice period; when can you engage this jobPlease only apply and press yes if you have read the requirements education experience and certifications and match Qatar
