The General Accountant / Income Audit is Responsible for reviewing income reporting procedure of the resort to ensure they are established satisfactory and adhere to policies and procedures regulatory guidelines and practices.
- To provide assistance to the department heads to review the revenue data income information and ensures that all the calculations and reported amount in the accounting record are accurate.
- To carry out various combination of tasks to check the accuracy of the postings calculations and figures concerned with the business transactions.
- The income auditor work under the direction of a General Accountants Supervisor to assess procedures and internal controls in income reporting system.
- They ensure that the procedures are performed efficiently.
- Evaluating all income generating centers and making report for revenue journal on a daily basis as well as assessing and balancing all rebates activities.
- Verifying monitoring and reviewing all resort revenue reports and night audit reports. Ensuring that daily revenues and settlements are in balance.
- On a daily basis Income Auditor to prepare the revenue report from the PMS to each revenue source as listed below signoff as evidence and resolve any discrepancies
- Room sales to the daily rooms revenue report
- Food and Beverage sales to the outlet sales POS summaries
- Spa Sales to the outlet POS
- 3rdparty / Concessionaires Other department sales (including manual ones) to relevant sales summaries.
- To perform any other duties given by the Finance department head and/or designates in relation to the revenue audit and its internal process.
