Oktopost is revolutionizing the way companies connect with their customers and audiences. We enable B2B marketers fully manage and optimize social media to drive their businesses forward in a scalable and measurable way. Leading B2B organizations all over the world such as ACI Worldwide Snowflake and Fujitsu are using Oktopost to improve and understand their social presence in order to make better business decisions. We are a global fastpaced and innovative start up with offices in Ramat Gan London and Grand Rapids (MI).
As VP of R&D at Oktopost youll lead and grow a talented team of engineers across multiple squads. Your mission: foster a culture of ownership trust and excellence while developing strong leaders within the team. Youll be responsible for translating product and business goals into a clear technical roadmap ensuring highquality delivery through scalable architecture and sound engineering practices.
Youll work closely with Product Design QA and GTM teams to align priorities and streamline . From sprint planning to strategic decisions around build vs. buy your leadership will directly impact the speed and quality of our product development. This role demands a sharp focus on operational excellencetracking KPIs removing delivery bottlenecks and continuously improving throughput and predictability across the organization.
Requirements
- 10 years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles (including VPlevel).
- Proven success managing engineering teams in afastgrowingSaaS company.
- Strong technical foundation in modern web technologies system design and architecture.
- Experience growing and mentoring senior engineers and team leads.
- Deep understanding of Agile CI/CD DevOps and modern engineering practices.
- Strategic thinker with sharp business acumen and a bias for action.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Experience working closely with Product QA and UX teams.
