The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our resorts dining experience to new heights. This is a handson leadership role responsible for the overall success of all kitchen operations.
As Executive Chef you will:
Showcase your culinary expertise while actively managing and inspiring a dedicated team.
Ensure exceptional food quality presentation and consistency across all outlets.
Drive guest satisfaction and team performance while maintaining a strong focus on cost control and profitability.
Oversee all culinary operations including banquets la carte restaurants inroom dining bar/lounge menus and the staff cafeteria.
Uphold the highest standards of hygiene safety and sanitation.
Mentor and develop the kitchen team fostering a positive professional and highperformance culture.
Coordinate with purchasing stewarding and other support departments for smooth daily operations.
This role is ideal for a resultsdriven culinary leader with a passion for excellence innovation and guest experience.
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar senior culinary leadership role preferably in a resort or luxury hospitality setting.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institute.
Deep knowledge of international cuisines culinary techniques and evolving food trends.
Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse kitchen brigade.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Creative flair with the ability to craft and execute innovative guestpleasing menus.
Proficiency in food cost control inventory management and budget planning to meet financial targets.
Thorough understanding of current food safety hygiene and sanitation standards.
Solid knowledge of sustainable kitchen practices and sourcing with a commitment to environmentally responsible operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with team members suppliers and guests.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a strong advantage.
